Attention!
Here is a few initial Hints and tricks from our
German Master mechanics
the cvt Audi transmission is starting to show symptoms of
failure like slipping in forward and loosing power. This can be repaired by
modifying the input shaft and the internal parts from the forward and
reverse clutch (7friction upgrade) und the valve body.
This is a complicated process
There are special tools and equipment and special
procedures to carry out this repair, you must reflash the computer with the
latest software upgrade
rebuilt kits and Hard parts available for this
transmission. We also reflash all control units
We are only selling this parts to selected workshops,
because of the complicated process, the risk is to big for failure, caused
by improperly fitting and modifying of the transmission and upgrading the
software

Attention!
Here is a few initial points to bear in mind if you see
this new box from ZF: 6HP26
The filter for this transmission is part of the oil pan. To replace
the filter you must replace the whole oil pan!!
This is a plastic oil pan that cracks if used to jack up transmission!
When working on the Mechatronik, for
example during a repair, suitable safety precautions
must be taken, particuly against ESD!
